# Corrections policy

> How to tell us about an error, and what we do when we get something wrong.

We aim to be accurate, and when we get something wrong we fix it openly.

## How to report an error

Use our [contact form](https://dubaibusinessinsight.com/contact/?topic=correction) and choose "A correction". Include the page link and what you believe is wrong, with a source if you have one. We read every report.

## What we do

- We check the report against primary sources, normally within two working days.
- If we made a factual error, we correct the page and add a dated note to its update log explaining what changed.
- If an error was significant, for example a wrong fee, deadline or eligibility rule that could have affected a reader's decision, we say so clearly at the top of the article.
- We don't silently delete or rewrite material to hide a mistake.

## Updates are not corrections

Rules and fees in the UAE change often. When a guide changes because the rules changed, not because we got it wrong, we record it in the update log as an update.
