Who owns Dubai Business Insight, how it is paid for, and how we keep advertisers and partners away from editorial decisions.
Who owns us
Dubai Business Insight is an independent publication, owned and run by its founder, who is also the editor.
We are not owned by, and we don’t take instructions from, any government body, free zone, bank, property developer or business-setup company.
Where we are based
We are a remote newsroom based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. We don’t have a physical office.
How we are funded
- Today: the publication is funded by its founder.
- In future: display advertising, shown in spaces marked “Advertisement”, and partner content, which is paid for, labelled “Partner content” and covered by our partner content policy.
- Newsletter sponsorship may be added once our newsletter is established. Sponsored emails will be labelled.
We will update this page when our funding changes.
Editorial independence
- The editor decides what we publish.
- Advertisers and partners can’t see or approve articles before publication, and can’t ask for changes to editorial content.
- We don’t accept payment for coverage, rankings or positive reviews.
